Dr. Le completed advanced bone grafting at The Medical University of South Carolina and received training in implant placement at the Zimmer Institute.

Not sure how this dentistry office got 4-5 star review from other patients but I had such a horrible experience with Dr. Quan Le who cares more about collecting money from me than providing ethical health care service. It took me a while to decide to write this negative review for I don't usually do this. I would give him a zero star if I could. Anyhow, since dental implant works are costly and are usually not covered much by dental insurance so I decided to visit Dr. Quan Le per referral from a friend. On the first day, he examined my jaw bone and suggested that I have 3D-Xray done without telling me how much out of my pocket fees would be. When the X-ray was done, I was told to pay $750 for this service as his receptionist said my insurance would not usually cover for this procedure; however, they would file a claim afterwards and send me a refund and/or apply this cost to implant work. I left this office and felt uneasy about this charge so, for a second opinion, I visited an actual dental implant specialist (prosthodontist) near home and was told it would cost me $150 for a 3D Xray but that cost would be waived for me being a senior person and a retiree. I then decided to have my dental implant with this specialist, who actually claimed for me 1/3 of the total cost from my insurance company. As a confirmation for the all dental claim filings, I called my dental insurance company who informed me that there had never been a claim filing from the Dr Quan Le (Le Smile Dentistry) nor did they submit an implant treatment plan, of which they sent me a copy (that they had fabricated) without zero insurance coverage. I then visited Le Smile Dentistry office and spoke with Dr Quan Le hoping that I could get a partial refund on the outrageous $750 charge for something that I no longer need. However, all he could tell me that no dentists would charge $150 for a 3D-xray and that $750 is a standard fee. He refused to give me even a partial refund. By the way, my further researches on the internet and from a few other dental offices show that a dental 3D-Xray varies between $150 to $350. The bottom line: I really lost all my respect for this so-called heath care professional guy who robbed me blind with his unethical practice and has no regards for your welfare. Anyway, I just wanted to share this bad experience in case you happen to use this office, especially Dr. Quan Le, for your dental care.

Our experience with Dr Le was a complete disaster. After being a patient for nearly 10 yrs , my husband and l had a conflict about billing for something he told us was covered to fix. After the procedure were were literally harassed to pay for it before he could confirm. Not at all what he had said before the procedure. When we questioned his assistant whose name l recall was Abby she screamed at us that it had to be paid because they couldn't reach his insurance company. When l said we wanted to discuss this with Dr Le in continuing to be patients of his, she said and l quote " do you actually think he could care less if you ever came in here again ?.He as over 3000 patients ! We were stunned. More importantly we discovered since that through consultations with 3 dental experts that he had caused significant damage to both of us ....by what he did as well as what he did not do ....My teeth alone were ruined for all practical purpose and have resulted in thousands of dollars in procedures just to try to stabilize!!! And we have heard and read of similar versions of the same experience. And yes he can be just very " charming and seemingly efficient" ...until he's not ! One needs to be their own advocate in any relationship with Dr Le ...to say the very least. Our complete trust in him proved to be a huge mistake. Sadly noted indeed.

Dr. Le is very gentle, patient, and knowledgeable. He explains what to expect and how long procedures will take (and he answers every question with the right amount of detail). I usually don't like to go to the dentist (in the past), but now I look forward to seeing Dr. Le during my checkups. Highly recommend! My whole family trusts Dr. Le.

My teeth cleaning has been excellent despite the dreadful experience I had with my prior dentist. Dr. Le has a very delicate and skillful hands and clean my teeth without pain other than the grinding sound I can hear from his tool. A+++ for Dr. Le professional service. Highly recommended for Dr. Le. I moved my whole family to him after my first visit. Dr. Le also would perform the teeth cleaning if you are not comfortable with the machine. My wife and my son both requested Dr. Le to clean their teeth without the grinding tool for their first visit and Dr. Le had no problem doing it. That was what we call customer service. I stick with him using the tool, because I believe it cleans better and the noise does not bother me if no pain. Thanks and good job to Dr Le. and his entire staff.

Both my kids and mother have been to Dr. Le for years and he's taken care of just about every dental needs we've ever had. Dr. Le is skillful and gentle, the office is clean and staff is pleasant to deal with. My mother has some major dental surgery scheduled for this fall and there's no one else I trust more than Dr. Le. Would highly recommend his office to all.
