Over the period of several visits that I have been receiving dental service from Hygienist Bisi, at Karl A. Smith D.D.S., dental office in Alexandria has been remarkable. The cleaning and care of my dental health has been instrumental in contributing with treatments I have received. My gratitude goes for the enthusiastic approach Bisi has with every visit; the diligence, the ease in administering the process and the education that she imparts while providing the service promoting maintenance and preservation of healthy teeth and gums. It is a pleasure to interact with such a person of integrity, dedication, and professional demeanor. Bisi is a credit to herself and to this dental office that she represents.

I came to this place recommended by my sister (she had better luck than me) I had a front tooth that broke after a malpracticed root canal The tooth decayed and broke completely, after 5 years It was an emergency case I didn’t want to have my missing tooth I went to another doctor that charged me a lot less, but due to the recommendation I decided to go with them I had no insurance. Had to sell a few things to gather the $8000 that the implant would cost. They refused to give me a payment plan despite the process was expected to last a minimum of 6 months . (A sign the only thing they care about is MONEY) They are not compassionate like they claim. They discriminate against you based on you financial status At the beginning everything went good. I CANNOT complaint. The reason why you would see only 5 Stars Reviews. They show the true color AFTER There was a infection on the remaining part of the tooth, “Doctor” Smith recommended me to wait 4 months. Then he place the implant. Then to wait for another 4 months I came back and they made wait for 2 more months The reason is because they work with a lab that imports their supplies from China. “ Doctor” Smith said that there was a shortage of abutments “Made in China” (They import supplies from China but they charge big US Dollars. (Is this an Honest practice or not; I will leave it up to you) No abutments available in The USA, no choice. I had to wait Until this I was patient and waited no complaints Everything was going Good. No complaints except for questioning about the quality of the materials they would use Finally the abutment came They scheduled with the lab The crown was placed and it fitted crooked Despite taking impressions several times I didn’t accepted the crown because it fitted short and crooked THIS IS WHEN THEY REVEALED THE TRUE COLOR After arguing for a while they agreed to take the crown to repair it. I asked them to make a new one. I didn’t feel it was FAIR having paid for a “repaired “ crown when they could easily make a new one to the right size. I waited for maybe another month. Then the REPAIRED CROWN came It was the same crown they brought before. Except it was a little longer I was already DESPERATE. It had been 11 months since start I needed to travel to my country and needed the crown I didn’t want to go toothless; after having waited for two long Not to mention that during these 11 months I had been wearing plastic retainers because they failed to make a partial to cover the missing tooth They tried several times to make a partial fake tooth When they failed, Kyler blamed the way my teeth are. Making me feel like I am abnormal. An ADEFESIO I traveled to my country with the crown that it was not right but was better than NOTHING When I returned I went to this clinic so they can have the Lab correct the crown and make right Because there’s a gap between the crown and the adjacent tooth (on one side) and the crown is really tight against the adjacent tooth on the other side almost impossible to floss THE CROWN IS NOT CENTERED & CROOKED This “doctor “ refused to do anything to correct it Despite I even offered more MONEY in case the lab wanted to charge more. He had the balls to call me a LIAR when he is seing that the crown is crooked and tight against on tooth and gapped on the other side He doesn’t even have the courage to discuss with me but he sends Kyler and the lady on the picture This lady is arrogant and disrespectful She is totally unaware of the case since she was not the assistant. How can she argue and mistreat me when had no clue about the case The deal was between the “Doctor “ and I.He should stand behind his promise. But they lie They gave me a warranty of 5 years It’s only been 6 months after they placed the crooked crwon and they refused to do anything According to the contract: The 5 years warranty included First year, I wouldn’t pay any additional fee Second year 20% Third year 30% and so on 6 months later, there is no WARRANTY It’s easier for them to blame my teeth

I have had a great experience with Dr. Smith over the past 1+ years having dental implant procedures. They do their best to accommodate patients when emergencies pop up! They are also very caring when it comes to anxiety surrounding dental work - Kyler has been so kind and great to work with at every appointment and procedure.

I was referred to Dr. Smith by my dentist for crown lengthening and it was such a seamless process. I was even able to get an appointment the same week.Dr. Smith is great! He has a good bedside manner and knows what he's doing. Klyer and Kylie were great and I would definitely return and recommend them.
